After conducting a comprehensive review of the proposal, SUFS policy experts found the proposed changes — which fundamentally reshape how federal funds are distributed and managed — will have consequences that extend far beyond science and research. The analysis identifies threats to education, mental health services, veterans services, and other critical community programs in every congressional district nationwide.

The event will feature Dr. Colette Delawalla, Founder & CEO, Stand Up for Science, who will release the SUFS’ Impact Report, which details the scope of the proposal’s effects and discusses some of the programs that will be affected if the rule is implemented.
