Colette Delawalla, PhD, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Stand Up for Science. Under her leadership, the organization has mobilized thousands of scientists worldwide, supported whistleblowers across federal agencies including the NIH, EPA, NASA, and FEMA, advocated against cuts to federally funded research, launched a campaign calling for the impeachment of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and is actively working to secure a pro-science congressional majority in 2026. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Emory University.

Prof. Tim Snyder

Timothy Snyder holds the inaugural Temerty Chair in Modern European History at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto.

Snyder’s work has appeared in forty languages and has received a number of prizes, including the Emerson Prize in the Humanities, the Literature Award of the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the Václav Havel Foundation prize, the Foundation for Polish Science prize in the social sciences, the Leipzig Award for European Understanding, and more. His words are quoted in political demonstrations around the world, most recently in Hong Kong.

Dr. Elizabeth Ginexi
Former NIH Scientific Program Official
Dr. Elizabeth Ginexi served the National Institutes of Health for 22 years as a Scientific Program Official, shaping biomedical and behavioral health research strategy. During her tenure, she managed a portfolio of 305 grants totaling $132 million across several institutes and centers, and co-authored 18 funding initiatives that generated 1,087 projects totaling $778 million spanning mental health, substance use prevention, pain management, data science, and health services research.

She left NIH in April 2025 because she witnessed the new leadership replacing NIH's scientifically-driven system with one that is politically directed and violates the Public Health Service Act of 1944. She has been writing about the dismantling of the NIH on Substack since December 2025.

Judy Chu

Judy Chu was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in July 2009. She represents the 28th Congressional District, which includes Pasadena and the west San Gabriel Valley of southern California.

Rep. Chu currently serves on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, which has jurisdiction over legislation pertaining to taxes, revenues, Social Security, and Medicare. In that Committee, Rep. Bruno Perrin
Head of the Board of Trustees Rationalist Union
Bruno Perrin comes from a family of scientists, some of whom were founders of the Union Rationaliste. He spent his entire career in auditing and consulting, specializing in the media, telecommunications, and technology sectors. His research focuses on the valuation of cultural industries and corporate governance. At the end of his professional career, he took responsibility for the finances of the UR and became head of the board.

As a Franco-American, Bruno has been committed from the outset to combating Trumpism, advocating for the rule of law, and supporting the development of open science -- autonomous and sustainably funded.
